ಬಾಗಲಕೋಟೆ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ (BGKU) ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಗಳ (ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ) ಕಾಯ್ದೆ 2022 ರಡಿ (2022 ರ ಅಧಿನಿಯಮ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 26, ಇದನ್ನು 10/10/2022 ರಂದು ಅಸಾಧಾರಣ ಗೆಜೆಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ) ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ಬಾಗಲಕೋಟ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಪದವಿ ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯವು ಜಮಖಂಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಚೇರಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ, ಜಮಖಂಡಿ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಉತ್ತರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಸ್ಥಳವಾಗಿದೆ. ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯವು ತನ್ನ ಆವರಣದ ವಿವಿಧ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ ತರಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತದೆ. ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯವು ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕವಾಗಿ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂರ್ಪೂಣವಾಗಿ ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ಉದ್ಯಮಶೀಲ (ಕೌಶಲ್ಯ ಆಧಾರಿತ) ಮಾದರಿ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯವಾಗಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು "ದುಡಿಮೆದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಲಿಕೆ" ಪರಿಕಲ್ಪನೆಗೆ ಒತ್ತು ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ.
ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯವು ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ಅಗತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಖಚಿತ ಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಉನ್ನತೀಕರಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಬಾಗಲಕೋಟೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹತ್ತಿರದ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಲು ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಕೋರ್ಸುಗಳು, ಕೌಶಲ್ಯ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಕೋರ್ಸುಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಲು ಯೋಜಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಬಾಗಲಕೋಟ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯವು ಉತ್ತಮ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ವಾತಾವರಣದಿಂದ ವಂಚಿತರಾಗಿರುವ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಅಗತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸುವ ವಿಭಿನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿ ಕೋಣದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿತವಾದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯವಾಗಿದೆ. 2023 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿತವಾದ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯವು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ಗುರಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಲುಪಲು ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಲು ಉತ್ತಮ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುವ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. BGKU ನಲ್ಲಿ, ನಾವು ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ತರಗತಿಯ ಅನುಭವ ಮತ್ತು ಡಿಜಿಟಲ ಕಲಿಕೆ ಎರಡಕ್ಕೂ ಒತ್ತು ನೀಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಅಧ್ಯಾಪಕರು, ತಮ್ಮ ಅಧ್ಯಯನದಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತಮ ಸಾಧನೆಮಾಡಲು ಮತ್ತು ಉದ್ಯಮಿಗಳಾಗಲು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಲು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿಕಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ನವೀನ ಬೋಧನಾ ತಂತ್ರಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ, ನಮ್ಮ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ನಾಳಿನ ನಾಯಕರಾಗಲು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಸಿದ್ಧರಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ. ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯವು ಅದರ ಮಾರ್ಗಸೂಚಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ, ಇದು ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿಯೂ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀತಿ 2020 ರ ಅಂಶಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಅಂತಿಮವಾಗಿ ಜ್ಞಾನ, ಕೌಶಲ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನವೀಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸಲು ನಾವು ಬದ್ಧರಾಗಿದೇವೆ
Bagallkot University (BGKU), is a state public university established by the Government of Karnataka by Karnataka state Universities(Amendment) Act 2022 (Act No. 26 of 2022, which is Published in the extraordinary gazette on 10/10/2022). It is an affiliating university with jurisdiction over all the general degree and Education colleges in the district of Bagalkot. The University is headquartered at Jamkhandi, a prominent place in North Karnataka with a historical background. The university offers Post Graduate programmes in various disciplines on its campus
The university has been established in educationally backward area to be a completely digital and entrepreneurial (skill base) model university with emphasis on “Earn while you Learn”
The university is ascertaining the regional needs, and is planning to introduce technical courses, skill oriented courses to uplift the rural students and contribute to the development of the students of Bagalkot district and nearby regions.
Vision of Bagalkot University is to be a leading university in the state of Karnataka with a different perspective catering to the need of rural students who are deprived of good educational ambience.
